We got some whisky to go with our whisky<\/p><\/div>\n

I caught up with a bunch of friends on Sunday.<\/p>\n

For breakfast, I reunited with my ol’ university flatmate Kolitha.\u00a0 He lives in Papa New Guinea nowadays but his work occasionally brings him through Brisbane.\u00a0 I caught up with him and his special lady for breakfast.\u00a0 It was a good revisiting old memories (I can’t believe uni was ten years ago, goddamn) and he very kindly got me a bottle of Macallan single malt.\u00a0 He’s a gentleman and a scholar.<\/p>\n

Then on Sunday afternoon, we did a Christmas in July with Rich, Jill, Rhea and Cam.\u00a0 Unbeknownst to me, my friends are super organized and got me early birthday prezzies as I’ll be out of town next weekend.\u00a0 Just look at this sweet haul.<\/p>\n
