sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Christmas for the Inoue family is a big deal.\u00a0 Anyone who&#8217;s seen the holiday blogs from past years will know that Jen&#8217;s family go a little nuts at Christmas time and lay on an amazing spread of food, put up a ton of decorations and generally get into the festive spirit as good as any family I know.\u00a0 It&#8217;s nice to have family tradition and in the Inoue household, I&#8217;ve received an orange as a Christmas gift for seventeen consecutive years and 2013 was no different (even if there was a slight twist this year).<\/p>\n<p>My mother-in-law Karen laid on the Christmas dinner this year and she absolutely nailed it.\u00a0 The menu was as follows:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Pumpkin Soup<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Truffle, salmon, beetroot and lime<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Gin and tonic sorbet<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Turkey, pork stuffing, roast potato &amp; carrots, parsnips and beans<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Christmas cake, chocolate &amp; strawberry slice, custard<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After a very hearty main course we had some whisky to close out the evening.\u00a0 It was an absolutely perfect day.<\/p>\n<p
