Although I’m now two weeks into a new job, I can happily report that I’m still included in the monthly wining and dining nights that my former manager and colleagues would catch up for.\u00a0 We take turns picking out a new restaurant to try and make a night of it.\u00a0 This time, on my suggestion, we went with Phillip Johnson’s E’cco Bistro<\/em>, a well known bistro that serves Modern Australian cuisine.\u00a0 Certainly no newcomer to the scene, Ecco has been around for twenty odd years and has won a slew of Restaurant of the Year awards.\u00a0 You’ll have to excuse the shitty iPhone quality pictures of the meals which really don’t do them justice.<\/p>\n

I’ve been once before to Ecco a couple of years ago and upon returning, I wasn’t disappointed.\u00a0 The standard of the service was excellent and the quality of the meals is reflected in the freshness of the ingredients, its professional presentation and incredible taste.\u00a0 I could happily come back another time and try a different main and if it wasn’t a school night, I wouldn’t mind hitting up the well stocked Ecco Bar next door too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
