As usual, I missed the 2am game on account of it being on at 2am.\u00a0 How did Netherlands vs Mexico go?<\/p>\n

Things started promisingly for the Mexicans.<\/p>\n

Then Netherlands equalized in the 88th minute.\u00a0 Then this happened.<\/p>\n

Netherlands advance, winning 2-1.\u00a0 They would surely have to like their chances playing the winner of Greece vs Costa Rica.<\/p>\n

1′\u00a0 <\/strong>I had some cereal and coffee.\u00a0 Getting used to these 6am kick offs.\u00a0 I was all.<\/p>\n

That was almost in slow motion and for some reason the Greek defense turned into statues.\u00a0 Visually, one of the weirdest goals of the tournament.\u00a0 Four Greeks, including the keeper, rooted to the spot 0_o<\/p>\n

70′\u00a0 <\/strong>No one can beat this Costa Rican keeper\u00a0 \ud83d\ude41\u00a0 Not Italy, not England and not Greec.e<\/p>\n

90′\u00a0 1-1!!!!!!!!!!!!!\u00a0 Greece equalize!<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have been spoilt for goals and late drama in this tournament.\u00a0 We’ve also now equaled the total goals scored in South Africa 2010.\u00a0 And thats with 10 games to go.<\/p>\n

At this stage I had to go to work and rely on gifs on my twitter feed to follow what happened.<\/p>\n
