Restaurant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its been a while since me and Jen had a chance to check out a new restaurant.\u00a0 Probably not since the Sydney trip in January.\u00a0 So we&#8217;re breaking that streak by eating at Jellyfish on Eaglestreet Pier and then in a fortnights time, we&#8217;ll be making a return to the Buffalo Club for another degustation.\u00a0 Five guests.\u00a0 Chefs table Jellyfish but a couple of fellow foodies, Rich and Dave, were both pretty adamant that the place was worth checking out.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1771\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1771\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">eight freshly shucked oysters<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As it turns out, you couldn&#8217;t fault the speed of the service or the friendliness of the staff.\u00a0 Funnily enough, one of the waitresses did end up accidentally knocking over a glass of wine onto Jen&#8217;s workphone but this resulted in us getting a complimentary bottle of red to make amends.\u00a0 I think that worked out pretty well.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1773\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img 100vw, 560px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1773\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Whole Baby Barra<\/p><\/div>\n<p>As for the mains, there&#8217;s an awesome selection of fish to choose from, including how you wanted it cooked and what sides you get with it.\u00a0 For our group of four, two sides (a serve of rocket salad and potato mash) was probably enough.\u00a0 For the mains, I had a whole baby barra which was absolutely delicious.\u00a0 It tasted really fresh and was complimented nicely by the soy sauce and vegies.<\/p>\n<p>It was worth hanging around for desserts too.\u00a0 Three of us had the awesome triple chocolate combo while Dave had the creme brulee which also looked impressive.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1774\" style=\"width: 570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img verdict:\u00a0 a great night out!\u00a0 I can definitely recommend this place if you&#8217;re in the mood for some seafood.\u00a0 They do everything.\u00a0 Fish, crab, oysters, bugs and it is all more-or-less awesome.\u00a0 They&#8217;ve got a pretty wide selection of vino there too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Its been a while since me and Jen had a chance to check
