\"yepair\"<\/a><\/p>\nA<\/span> couple of weekends ago, I flew to\u00a0Rockhampton and Yeppoon to visit my sister and her family. \u00a0It was my first opportunity to spend a bit of time with her seven month old son Tyce!<\/p>\n

Rockhampton and Yeppoon are situated in Central Queensland. \u00a0They are quiet, sleepy coastal towns that kinda embody the lifestyle you see on shows like\u00a0Home and Away<\/em>. \u00a0People here are super chill and spend most of their free time surfing or chilling at a park\/pub etc.<\/p>\n

There was a pretty crazy tropical storm in Yeppoon last year. \u00a0You can still see some homes like this one where the roof has been torn clean off.<\/p>\n

I love traditional Aussie pubs like this in Yeppoon. \u00a0XXXX Gold on tap, rugby league on the TV and Cold Chisel pumping on the juke box.<\/p>\n

Jen’s first time on a surf board. \u00a0Which is criminal since she’s lived in Australia since 2003.<\/p>\n

On Saturday night, locals go to the yacht club for a beer or two.<\/p>\n

My sister runs a woodfire pizza truck. \u00a0They set up in parks, at festivals, where ever they feel like.<\/p>\n

My nephew Tyce. \u00a0He’s a cool little dude.<\/p>\n
