500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since I was a kid, I&#8217;ve always held a fascination and affinity for trains.\u00a0 There are a few things I can think of that sparked this interest in me.\u00a0 It would&#8217;ve come from my brother, who collected model trains, had a Top Trumps train set which we played a lot when we were little and who went on to make a career out of driving them.\u00a0 It might&#8217;ve also been my mother who put me onto reading Agatha Christie books of which two classics, <em>Murder on the Orient Express<\/em> and <em>The Mystery of the Blue Train<\/em>, are both set on particularly exotic and interesting locomotives.\u00a0 Or maybe it was something to do with my memory of traveling in Japan as a kid and having fond memories of riding on the famous bullet train Shinkansen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/toptrumps.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8203 aligncenter\" title=\"toptrumps\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/toptrumps.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/toptrumps.jpg 550w, http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/toptrumps-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Where am I going with this?\u00a0 I just saw the latest Lego Creator set announced for 2013, titled the &#8216;Horizon Express&#8217;, which is modeled on the classic French TGV design and it instantly caught my eye.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m going to actually buy this thing.\u00a0 I have nowhere to fit it in my apartment.\u00a0 But man alive, does it look awesome.\u00a0 And since I stumbled onto a website and read about it, I&#8217;ve lost the next hour trawling Google and looking up trains, particularly the ones from that crusty old Top Trump range from when I was kid.<\/p>\n<p>Now I feel like watching <em>The Station Agent<\/em>, which stars a pre-<em>Game of Thrones<\/em> Peter Dinklage as a reclusive dwarf in rural New Jersey who spends his time trainspotting.\u00a0 It&#8217;s my favourite film of 2003.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/220px-Station-agent-poster.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8208\" title=\"220px-Station-agent-poster\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thefatwebsite.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/220px-Station-agent-poster.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"326\"
