Woke up to the sound of rain this morning. It was very peaceful… I could have stayed there snuggled up under the covers forever. In fact, I think I probably should have considering the productivity of my day so far. Which would be very little.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve spent all afternoon flicking through my CD\u2019s trying to find something appropriate for my mood. I\u2019ve finally ended up with Something for Kate\u2019s \u2018Echolalia\u2019. An album I\u2019d almost forgotten I had. I\u2019ve got a few good ones like that. Another would be The Goo Goo Dolls \u2018Dizzy up the girl\u2019. I have fond memories of singing \u2018Slide\u2019 with Tom Mc Neil. Good old Tom. I wonder if he ever reads this site. I wonder where all this nostalgia is coming from?!<\/p>\n
What I was supposed to be doing to day was a LOT of school work. I think it\u2019s amazing that I\u2019ve spent my whole high school career learning about self discipline and how to be organised and prioritizing and then in one year away I\u2019ve totally forgotten how this whole thing works. And it\u2019s sad but I\u2019m quite sure that by the time I\u2019ve got it worked out again I\u2019ll have finished both high school and further tertiary study. At this point I think that a good start would be to not go out anywhere next weekend.<\/p>\n
Have I already mentioned that I got paid the other day. They gave me a check. And then i lost it (oops) and thankfully they wrote me another. But that one doesn\u2019t seem to work. So now I\u2019m heavily in debt to many people. Being in debt is dumb because it just never leaves the back of your mind.<\/p>\n
I have to go out now. I\u2019m meeting a friend who was actually my Spanish teacher for about 5 weeks pre Costa Rica. It\u2019ll be great catching up but I\u2019m so not in the mood. I\u2019ll make sure I get up on the other side of the bed tomorrow.<\/p>\n
