Polly has gone from being hard to contact to being literally impossible to contact. Shockingly, in her 3rd week, she is so loaded with schoolwork she UNPLUGS her phone 24\/7 so she can get it done. So when I talk to her, which is like once every couple of weeks when she finds time to call me, we have lots to catch up on. Last time I talked, I filled her in on what I’ve been doing since I got back from Brunei.<\/p>\n

I talked about how I practically live with Mcgee and Denise now, about the new project I might start with Sarah, about Rebecca from my Interactive screen class, Christine being sick, Jenny’s 21st birthday, Natalie moving house and Melissa living off 40 dollars a week (!). Polly then casually remarks: “Heh…you have no male friends”.<\/p>\n

That was a couple of days ago and the more I think about it, the more it bugs me. What is the deal? I have no close male friends! Like, not a single one! Just my flatmate who I see for about half an hour every day. And the more I think about it, the more I miss doing guy stuff. I miss watching wrestling vcds, or sitting around playing videogames, or getting wasted and watching football. I miss bowling. I miss the band practises. I miss playing football on Friday. And going to pubs with a bunch of guys from East Perth.<\/p>\n

I hardly get to do any of it, anymore.<\/p>\n

Godammit, now I’m discontent. *…frowns…*<\/p>\n

About four months ago, i just hung out with my guy friends doing guy stuff such as weed, drinks, videogames etc etc.<\/p>\n

Now i work with only woman apart from about three guys. I mainly hang out with becca and her friends. And i regularly talk to girls such as Saffron, Michelle, and Morven on the phone.<\/p>\n

Weird transition i can relate too<\/p>\n
