This particular post is a bit over due.  During the Christmas season I visited Madame Wu, the new waterfront Asian fusion restaurant situated on Eagle St Pier.  The venue has spectacular views to compliment your dining and the food is best enjoyed in a large group with share plates.

I came with a party of eight and we had the banquet lunch.

wagyu dumplings, jerusalem artichoke puree, chive oil

pork dumplings, corn puree, chiu chow & black vinegar

tang sui chicken ribs

smoked ocean trout, fennel, green chilli mayonnaise & watercress

piju ju snapper guilin style in tsingtao beer

beef cheeks braised in rock sugar & soy, black bean & chilli sauce

crispy pork hock, stir fried kim chi & apple

stir fried wok greens w oyster sauce

butternut pumpkin braised w yellow beans

steamed rice

steamed chocolate bun, green tea ice cream
