I’m looking forward to checking out Gareth Evans’ Godzilla this weekend. The film has received pretty positive reviews so far (77% on Rotten Tomatoes) and has a pretty amazing cast including Bryan Cranston, Sally Hawkins and Elizabeth Olsen.
More to the point, I love me some monster movies as a whole so to see Pacific Rim and Godzilla get released in back to back years is very heartening. Hopefully if Godzilla makes some money at the box office, it’ll help re-invigorate the genre.
