This week, Brunei made a piece of footballing history by winning their first ever World Cup Qualifying match, on their thirteenth attempt. They won 1-0 away to Chinese Taipei thanks to an extraordinary goal from Awangku Fakharraz.
Brunei can advance to the second league of the qualifiers if they can beat Chinese Taipei in the return leg in Brunei on March 17th.
