Weekend Games and Book

Hey, that stupid pedestrian bridge they’ve been building, which has been responsible for noisy construction going on outside our apartment every Saturday morning, has finally finished being built.  It looks very modern and er, spiky.

Jen and I have been clearing out the back-catalogue of games recently to make way for the upcoming awesomeness that is Uncharted 2 and Brutal Legend.  In the past few days we finished Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, Katamari Forever, Loco Roco 2 and Lucidity.  I’ll try and getting around to writing a review on some of those games next week.

After finishing Survivor, I’ve started reading a new book:  The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.  Its set in Sweden!  The story seems to revolve around three different characters and industrial espionage.  Its a bit different from anything I’ve read before and I’m enjoying it so far.

Lastly, we picked up a few things recently.  A couple of PSP games (I can’t decide if I should be jealous of Mike and his PSP Go) and some tea.

  1. no need to be jealous. i got it, downloaded Gran Turismo, played it for like 2 hours and haven’t touched it since. that’s what happens when you don’t have a credit card.

  2. oh, i also tried the whole transfer UMD game onto PSPGo via the store with Patapon 2, but it doesn’t seem to have worked. i’m still waiting on an email from Sony with the redemption code. fucking useless.

  3. Ah, no credit card makes a bit of a difference then. I take it that means you cant try out any of the Mini games :/
