Two and a half weeks ago I took my mobile in for service, since the battery on the phone died and wouldn’t recharge itself. The warranty was still active, so I won’t be charged for it. I was told that the phone would be returned in a week’s time. I figured I could live for a week without a phone contact.

This was two and half weeks ago.

Would it be folly or merely prudence not to take the initiative regarding the slothful return of my telephone? By initiative, I mean the not-so-gentle reminders on my behalf from an aggressive, perceptive third party to the faceless institutions to get their thumb out of whatever passage is being blocked so as to assist my phone service request just a little.

Time may be eternal, but my patience is not. I have come to the end of my patience. Heads are going to roll.
