Pleasantville

“At some point during the night, I had lodged a flask of fine scotch whiskey between my buttocks.”Chief Barley’s latest post.

Did anyone else notice how on the buttons for our site, the main page has ‘forums’, in plural form, and on the other pages it lists it as ‘forum’, in singular? I never noticed until just now.

…And yet I designed the site. Odd.

Yesterday I went to Gadong with Rod and Jen to buy some comedy DVDs since I noticed I was short on them. I came home with a Japanese zombie movie, 25th Hour, Raging Bull, About Schmidt and Old School. 1 out of 5 ain’t bad.

Can anyone recommend some comedies that are available in Brunei?

I also bought a couple of games. Prince of Persia which Rod keeps talking about (yep, I bought it out of peer pressure) and a SNES Emulation CD with Zelda on it. When I loaded the SNES emu disc, I found that none of the games have sound and it has a disclaimer saying ‘this software is free, if you paid for it, then you got ripped off’. Great.

Last night I hung out with Dan Rose. DAN ROSE BABY. It was great. We went to Gadong and played pool. It was awesome. You should’ve been there. But you weren’t.

Garfield and Friends is coming out on DVD. That makes me happy. I’m dangerously close to rekindling that expensive habit of collecting TV shows on DVD. I already have some X-files, The Simpsons and far too much Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Now I want:

– Spongebob Squarepants Season One
– Southpark Season Three
– Alias Season One
– 24 Season One and Two
– more Airwolf

It’s Ihsan’s party tomorrow. So there will actually be something to write about soon instead of this listing DVDs nonsense.

I have an appointment with the dentist today. I have to see Doctor Koo. DOCTOR KOO BABY.

Dental Plan….Lisa Needs Braces…

Now where did I put my muesli?

Curse the day a co-worker let me borrow the Alias discs! Now, $70 and countless hours of viewing later, I own the first two seasons on DVD. I’m addicted.
